Climb aboard the Historic Trolley Tour for a fully narrated tour of Milledgeville’s historic district, featuring grand architecture, historic squares, and a guided walk through the grounds of Georgia's Old Capitol Building and St. Stephens Episcopal Church. 

January 8th - 29th | Exhibit: Allied Arts Collection

The Allied Arts Collection rotating display gives guests the opportunity to explore the diverse permanent collection of Milledgeville - Baldwin County Allied Arts. Enjoy vast works, from contemporary pieces to historic reflections. 

January 10th | Central State Hospital Campus Trolley Tour

Explore the site of what was once the world's largest mental health facility on this two-hour guided Central State Hospital Campus Trolley Tour, led by a former hospital employee. The tour includes stops at the Chapel of All Faiths and Cedar Lane Cemetery. 

January 16th | 9th Annual MLK, Jr. Community Breakfast

Join Georgia College & State University and community partners for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Breakfast on January 16, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom.

January 16th - 18th | Comfort Farms Community Build & Feast

Join Comfort Farms for a meaningful event, the Community Build & Feast, where volunteers come together to restore, build, and prepare the farm for the upcoming season. 

January 16th - 18th | All American Circus

The All American Circus returns to town in 2026 with a classic, family-friendly circus experience for all ages. Presented by Oscar Garcia, this all-new show features thrilling acts, dazzling performances, and nonstop entertainment under the big top.

January 17th | 30th Anniversary Will Robinson Memorial Race

Georgia Military College hosts the annual Will Robinson Memorial Race, a 5K road race and one-mile fun run, in honor and remembrance of Deputy Will Robinson, a GMC alum who lost his life in the line of duty. 

January 20th | Evenings with History: Milledgeville in the '60s

Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center at The Depot hosts Evenings with History, a monthly speaker series highlighting notable historic and cultural events and people. January's spotlight is on Milledgeville in the '60s, hosted by columnist and speaker Rick Millians.  

January 22nd - 24th | Disney's Frozen Jr. 

Georgia Military College Prep School presents Disney's Frozen Jr., a charming adaptation of the fan-favorite film. Grab the kids and your tickets for the family-friendly journey to Arendelle. 

February Signature Events

February 6th | First Friday: Flannels & Food Trucks

Bundle up for Milledgeville Main Street's First Friday: Flannels & Food Trucks, featuring live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities from local sponsors and nonprofits. Keep an eye out for Billy Bigfoot sightings as you enjoy this cozy evening in Downtown Milledgeville on February 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

February 11th - 13th | Exhibit: Life of a Flower

Celebrate the Life of a Flower exhibit at The Marlor Art Center, February 11–13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., featuring live floral art and ceramics crafted by GCSU art students under the guidance of Ms. Sandra Trujillo. This vibrant showcase highlights the delicate beauty of flowers and the artistic expression of ceramics in a stunning multi-medium display.

February 17th | Evenings with History: De Soto in Georgia

\Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center at The Depot will host Joseph Sumner for their monthly Evenings with History discussion. February's topic, as led by Sumner, will be about the meeting of the Muscogee/Creek Peoples in Middle Georgia with Spanish soldiers and priests in the Hernando de Soto Expedition in 1540 AD. 

February 20th - 21st | Georgia College Homecoming & Alumni Weekend

Reconnect with Georgia College& State University during Homecoming & Alumni Weekend on February 20th-21st, featuring exciting homecoming basketball games and alumni-exclusive events. Relive your glory days, make new connections, and celebrate school spirit during this fun-filled weekend.

February 27th - 28th | Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr.

Dive under the sea with Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr., presented by Georgia Military College Prep School. Join Ariel and her friends as she trades her voice for a chance to live on land. This is a fun night for the whole family.
