TIPS FOR PLANNING YOUR REUNION

Twenty-four months before
Form a committee
Choose a location
Contact Milledgeville-Baldwin CO. CVB
Develop budget
Start mailing list
Set date
Scout hotels and meeting facilities
Conduct site inspection of hotels and meeting facilities

Eighteen months before
Select and reserve hotels and meeting venues
Arrange for and hire entertainment, caterer, etc...
Send initial mailer announcing date and location of reunion

Twelve months before
Mail reunion registration materials
Provide information on reunion to all websites that post reunion dates
Plan leisure activities ( sightseeing tours etc.)
Pay deposit

Six months before
Confirm all reservations, caterers, entertainment, etc.
Select menu
Meet with hotel and meeting venue staff

Four months before
Make payment arrangements with all suppliers for group functions (meal, tours, etc.)

One month before
Finalize any last-minute details
