Join Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center at the Depot, Inc. at the historic Brown Stetson Sanford House on Thursday, June 25th at 5:00 p.m. for "Portraits of the Past", an evening exploring the history of one of Milledgeville’s historic homes.
The reception marks the installation of two oil portraits depicting Dan Stetson and Edith Stetson, whose family converted the former Brown Hotel into a private residence during the mid-19th century.
The portraits are now displayed in the Music Room, where a historian will be stationed throughout the evening to share the history of the house and the families who lived there.
Admission is $15 and includes the history program in the Music Room, a tour of the house with docents, and light refreshments.
