(Milledgeville, GA) April 29, 2016 - Georgia Military College will host numerous celebrations on Friday, May 6, 2016.  The media is invited to attend all events.

8:00 AM - GMC will honor all mothers with a Mothers’ Day at 8:00 a.m. on Grant Parade.  The speaker will be the Honorable Brian Kemp, Georgia Secretary of State.  Mr. Kemp will be available for media interviews at 9:15 a.m.

10:00 AM – GMC will break ground on a new Military Science Building at 10:00 a.m. at 424 East Washington Street.  Among others, the Honorable Earl Ehrhart, Georgia House of Representatives, and Colonel Reginald Neal, 48th Brigade Commander, will participate.

2:00 PM – GMC will hold the Spring Academic Honors Assembly for junior college students who have excelled in academics at 2:00 p.m. in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.
