The Underwood House is the home of Georgia College & State University’s Museum of Fine Arts. This historic house, originally constructed by Mrs. E. D. Napier of Milledgeville, Georgia, and designed by renowned architect Leonard Schultze, was acquired by Georgia College in 2010. The house, named after Lucy Underwood, an emeritus professor of music who served from 1962 to 1998, now serves as the Georgia College Museum of Fine Arts. The museum hosts rotating exhibits throughout the year. For current exhibit hours, information, or to schedule an appointment, please call 478-445-4572.
