The Eddy Neighborhood is the historic location of the African American community in Milledgeville, Georgia. Experience the stories and heritage of people who lived here and the events that took place in these blocks which play an intricate role in the city’s heritage and served as the foundation of Milledgeville. This self-guided walking tour, which is available in the green box outside the Sallie Ellis Davis House or from the Visitor Information Center, hopes to highlight and celebrate nine of these important people and places.
