ABOUT

ABOUT

The Milly 48 Film Festival brings aspiring filmmakers, friends and families together for a fast-paced, 48-hour filmmaking challenge hosted by Georgia College & State University. Teams of any size can participate, developing an original short film from scratch after receiving three surprise elements at the Friday evening kickoff. Participants have the weekend to write, film and edit their projects before submitting a film of up to 10 minutes by noon Sunday.

The festival culminates Sunday evening with a celebration and public screening of the top films, selected by community judges. Audiences can enjoy an evening of original storytelling and creative filmmaking, followed by the presentation of Milly Awards, including a Grand Prize for Best Hometown Feel.

Team Registration: Each team must have a leader who is at least 18 years old and registers by noon Monday, Nov. 16. All cast and crew members must submit participant release forms.
