Lake Sinclair Pirate Parade

Avast ye Matey’s!  The final arrangements for the 15th Annual Sinclair Pirate Parade are set for Saturday, May 30th!

 

This year the parade route is about an hour, beginning at Little River Marina at 2:00 p.m. sharp! Participants can look for and follow the lead boat, a pontoon boat with banners on both sides reading PIRATE PARADE CAPTAIN. The parade will go by The Sandbar at the end of the airport, and come up the lake to Crooked Creek Marina where they will invade and pillage the landlubbers!

The marina has graciously offered to host again this year and provide two of their docks with slips for 24 DECORATED PIRATE SHIPS! These slips will be roped-off and not available until the Captain’s Ship has approached so if your boat is not seriously decorated and festooned with Pirate stuff, please use one of the other docks.

Boats will be judged from these docks.
