When placed on National Register of Historic Places, this house was cited as “a rare Georgia example of a 19th century house constructed in a three part symmetrical plan that evolved in several stages” Spend the night in history! Stay in the private wing within a charming nineteenth century house in a secluded, quiet, wooded area on the outskirts of historic Milledgeville. The home was originally built in 1835, wings added in 1887 and moved to present location in 1981. Large windows on three sides of the room give the space beautiful lighting throughout the day. The room includes a King size bed, a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and a private bath with standing shower. Come experience a bit of history and stay in this lovely home. The guest wing is completely private and separate from the central portion of the house, with separate entrance connected to the house by a covered porch. Parking enough for two guest vehicles.
