This exhibit explores the Brown family ‘Crazy Quilt’ made by Governor Brown’s wife, Elizabeth Grisham Brown, and his daughter, Mary Virginia.  This quilt is a tapestry of Brown family memorabilia and includes mementos and hand-embroidered details that illuminate their past and showcase their lives in 1880s America.  Please join Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion as they explore this quilt and the history surrounding it.

Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion is open Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
