Allied Arts will host the 33rd Annual Georgia Artists with Disabilities Tour Exhibit from May 22 – June 26, 2018. The exhibit, a collection of 51 pieces, has toured the state since September 2017. The exhibit will remain at Allied Arts for a month before finishing the tour in Carrollton. The GAWD touring exhibit is sponsored by the Pilot Clubs of Georgia.
Multiple Milledgeville artists are represented in the exhibit: Lois Dowdy, Chris Duncan, Laura Howard, George Hunt, Roger Stembridge, Melvin Stroud, and Michael Webb. These artists, along with others from around the state, entered the juried exhibition to showcase their artistic talent with clay, acrylic, oil, pastel, wood burning, and ink.
