Held on Saturday, June 7th from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Oconee River Greenway, the event welcomes guests beginning at 10:45 a.m. Designed for walkers and runners alike, this fun-filled experience offers a scenic route, engaging activities, and delicious food that make it more than just a stroll—it’s a celebration. Perfect for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy an energetic day outdoors, The Golden Mile promises an experience to remember. 

The Golden House Foundation Inc. is an organization is dedicated to empowering communities by providing resources, education, and support to mothers in need. They believe that everyone deserves that special golden hour whether its directly after birth or long after. The organization would like to raise awareness to the many different difficulties during and after the birthing process. Through their programs and partnerships, they strive to create a open and judgment free space to share their story and helping one another through motherhood.
