The State Banana Pudding Festival of Georgia is making its debut in Milledgeville on April 5, 2025, bringing a celebration of the South’s most beloved dessert to a new home at Council Farms. Located just off the Fall Line Freeway near GA Highway 441, the festival’s new site offers a picturesque setting that enhances the experience while providing convenient access to lodging. Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of events, including the Puddin' Pedal, a ride for cycling enthusiasts, and the Puddin' Path, where attendees can sample an array of banana pudding recipes. The Banana Pudding Contest will showcase the best pudding makers in the state, while the Skippin' & Poppin' Car Show features a display of classic and custom cars. Creativity will take center stage in the Banana Carving Contest, and local vendors will be on-site offering a selection of goods and treats. With its new location and expanded offerings, the festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of tradition, community, and, of course, plenty of banana pudding.
