Join Georgia’s Old Capital Heritage Center at The Depot for the 2nd Annual Heritage Hustle 5K and 1K Fun Run on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The race begins and ends at The Depot and winds through the historic grounds of the former Central State Hospital. The morning will include music, t-shirts, door prizes, awards for top finishers, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere for runners, walkers, and families alike.
Trophies given to the top overall male and female finishers as well as Master's Male and Female Finishers. Medals given to the top three in male and female 5 year increment age group categories from 10 and under all the way to 75 and up.
All proceeds go toward The Depot renovation and expansion to allow for continued and future museum exhibit development and display as well as GOCHC operational expenses, and property management. Also these funds will go toward current educational programs, and the development of new programs and exhibits to share with all who visit historic Milledgeville and the Middle Georgia area.
Your participation or sponsorship of the Heritage Hustle 5K/1K will enable Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center at the Depot, Inc. to continue to "Tell the Stories" and to keep our local heritage alive for generations to come!
