Georgia Cycling Assocation: The Challenge at Walter B. Williams Park

“The Challenge at Walter B. Williams Park” is Race 3 in the Georgia Cycling Race Series presented by Northside Hospital, a four-part statewide mountain biking competition for student-athletes. Hosted at Walter B. Williams Park in Milledgeville on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th, this course sets the stage for a challenging and exciting race. 

Designed as an optional extension of the Georgia Cycling Youth MTB Program, the race series invites riders of all skill levels to take on challenges that match their own goals. Whether aiming for a top finish or simply crossing the finish line, every athlete’s effort is celebrated. Rooted in Georgia Cycling’s pillar of “finish over podium,” the series prioritizes self-improvement, perseverance, and the courage to stretch for more—whatever “more” means to each rider.

To participate, riders must be registered in the Georgia Cycling Youth MTB Program. Early registration discounts are available, and financial assistance is offered through the Arcus Capital Partners Financial Assistance Program to help ensure every young athlete has a chance to race.
