Georgia BASS Nation Kayak Series

ABOUT

The Georgia BASS Nation Kayak Series is coming to Milledgeville, GA on Saturday, May 17, 2025, for a one-day tournament on the waters of Lake Sinclair. Anglers from across the state will compete for a chance to qualify for the season championship. The top 10 finishers from this event, as well as the top 50 from the Carl Black Chevrolet Angler of the Year standings, will earn spots at the championship. The entry fee is $75 and includes a $5 Sniper Marine Big Bass Side Pot and a $1 donation to Purple Heart Homes..

Anglers are allowed to fish all public waters on Lake Sinclair. Launches are permitted from public ramps, pay ramps open to the public, and other public access areas. The northern boundary of the tournament is the Lake Oconee Dam, and the southern boundary is the Lake Sinclair Dam. Official practice runs from May 12 through May 16, with all practice taking place from a kayak. Participants must be off the water by 6:00 PM on May 16. Registration closes at 9:00 PM on May 16.

Tournament day kicks off at 11:05 AM on May 17 and runs through 6:05 PM. The awards ceremony will be held at Pickle Barrel Cafe & Sports Pub, located at 1892 N Columbia St, Milledgeville, GA 31061. To compete, anglers must be members of both Bassmaster and BASS Nation. Links to join and official tournament rules will be provided soon.
