Join Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center at The Depot, Inc. for an evening of learning, discussion, and community connection! They will welcome Jessica Whitehead, director of the Central State Hospital Museum, on Tuesday, April 21st at Allen's Market. Come out and hear the history of mental health treatment and Central State Hospital, once the world’s largest mental institution, told through photographs of the decaying buildings by award-winning photographer, CSH historian, and author of Seeking Asylum.


This ever-popular lecture series is now in its 21st year! Evenings with History brings the past to life through engaging talks on local history. Each program features a different speaker sharing unique stories and expertise on various topics. Come listen and learn at Allen's Market every third Tuesday.
