Join Lockerly Arboretum for an evening with Staci Catron!  The evening will begin with a wine and cheese reception, followed by a conversation with Staci. 

Cherokee Garden Library Director Staci Catron will share some of the remarkable and engaging treasures at the Cherokee Garden Library as they hold the diverse and meaningful stories of the people and plants that have shaped, are shaping, and will shape the world.

Founded by the Cherokee Garden Club of Atlanta in 1975, the Cherokee Garden Library is named for the state floral emblem of Georgia, the Cherokee rose (Rosa laevigata), and is one of the special collections libraries of the Kenan Research Center at the Atlanta History Center.
Containing over 400 years of knowledge, the Cherokee Garden Library has over 35,000 items, including rare and contemporary books, periodicals, seed and nursery catalogs, landscape drawings, photographs, postcards, and ephemera that tell the diverse and fascinating stories of horticulture and botanical history in the Southeastern United States and areas of influence throughout the world
