In 1842, Edgar Allan Poe published "The Masque of the Red Death" and now, 183 years later, audiences are still captivated by its horror and suspenseful storytelling.  And, while we are only 5 years removed from a global pandemic, the story of an unrelenting plague is a topic about which many of us can relate.  Jason Markiewitz, an award-winning voice actor, adapted this story into a full-cast dramatization, casting voice actors with strong theatrical talent, hired a composer with hundreds of credits to his name, and crafted sound effects to immerse the audience into an inspired re-telling of this horrific tale.  Please join Milledgeville Baldwin County Allied Arts for a special premiere event and listening party, where "Masque of the Red Death" will be played for the first time in public, followed by a Q&A with the writer/director.  Every attendee will receive discounts on merchandise and special offers at the Markiewitz Audioworks online store.  Light refreshments will be available.
