Antebellum Christmas

November 22 - December 21

Experience how Milledgeville's most storied residences deck the halls during the antebellum period and discover holiday traditions passed down from our city's earliest families. ​Georgia's Old Governor's Mansion will be fully and splendidly decorated and open for Christmas tours beginning on Sunday, November 18.  For a truly magical experience, attend an evening candlelight tour of the Mansion complete with choirs singing in the rotunda.

Holidays at Rose Hill

December 10 - 21

The circa 1852 Greek Revival Home, Rose Hill, will be beautifully decorated for the holidays in period-appropriate style. The Garden Clubs of Milledgeville festively furnished the home for the holidays by using fresh greenery from the arboretum. For a special treat, visit on Saturday, December 8 from 10am - 4pm to attend the Holiday Open House for a guided tour and be one of the first to see the wonderful decorations!

CLASSICS

The Nutcracker

December 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. and December 9 at 2 p.m.

Over 200 dancers ages three and above in the GC Community Dance Program, Department of Theatre and Dance will present this annual holiday favorite. The GC award winning cheerleaders are the acrobatic Russian dancers.

Hometown Christmas

December 15 at 5:30 p.m.

Don’t miss Santa at the annual Milledgeville Christmas Parade. The nighttime illuminated parade starts at dusk (5:30 p.m.) as local bands, floats, tractors, dancers and more march through the streets of Downtown Milledgeville.

Polar Express Trolley Ride

December 10th - 14th at 6 p.m. 

Take a magical ride on the Polar Express Trolley when you purchase a golden ticket. You will be greeted by the trolley conductor who will take you on a journey to the North Pole! Board the trolley & listen to Liam Neeson’s reading of The Polar Express and interact with characters from the movie. Upon arrival at our North Pole, disembark & visit with Santa. He will be giving true believers the first present of Christmas! Hot chocolate & cookie refreshments are also included.

Reindeer Flight School

December 14th - 26th at 6 p.m. 

Walk through a winter wonderland in Baldwin County's largest lights display! Reindeer Flight School cannot be completely seen from the road, plan to park and walk around through over 30,000 lights on trees, additional lights on snowflakes, wreaths, flying reindeer and more on display. Photo opportunities are abundant and be sure to climb atop a life size wooden reindeer. Santa sightings are possible nightly, but he typically appears on Friday and Saturday nights from 6 - 9 p.m. Santa doesn't appear in the rain.

Christmas at the Chapel

December 15, 2018 from 10 a.m.  - noon 

Your child's magical morning begins by meeting that Jolly old elf, Saint Nick! Afterwards they'll be treated to arts and crafts, refreshments and holiday fun! Space is limited, so get your tickets today!
