As the situation evolves, Visit Milledgeville is actively engaged in conversations with hospitality partners across our community to provide daily updates on attraction closures and event cancellations. While we remain open for visitation, we’ve compiled a list of sites and activities that have altered schedules as a health precaution:
The Marlor Arts Center (Allen’s Market and the Marlor House) will remain temporarily closed to the public. The following events at Allied Arts and the Marlor Arts Center are postponed or cancelled: Picture Character at the Goldstein Center, ACT for Youth I & II classes, The Write Space, Opening “A Journey through Art: Upcoming Art and Math Exhibition by GMC Students", Storytelling at the Market Sunday, Ballroom Dancing demonstration at the Market Sunday, Amy Alznauer & Ping Zhu: Writing & Illustrating a Children’s Book lecture at the Market Thursday, Growing Up Milledgeville with Randy Newton at the Market, Spring Break Art Camp with Debi Sloan, First Friday, April 3 Pictures with the Easter Bunny in Allen’s Market, Opening reception for the students of Dana Thompson’s watercolor classes (the exhibit will be open April 5 – 25), and Art Healthy Festival.
Allied Arts is streaming an "All in this together" video daily from or about artists in our community, art activities, and Allied Arts exhibits and projects. Watch HERE.
AMC Classic Movie Theatre:
This theatre is temporarily closed in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines.
Baldwin County Regional Airport Community Appreciation Day and Fly on the Ford:
This event has been postponed.
Department of Historic Museums:
Which includes Andalusia: the Home of Flannery O’Connor, Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion, and the Sallie Ellis Davis House will cancel all tours, rentals, and public programming from Saturday, March 14-Sunday, March 29. Regular hours of operation and tours will resume on Saturday, May 2. The following events have been canceled: Historic Doll Wedding & High Tea, Lecture Series with Susan Turner, and Music at the Mansion.

Georgia Military College:
Georgia Military College and its 14 campuses, GMC Corps of Cadets, and GMC Prep School students transitioned to online learning. Campus updates may be found HERE.
Historic Trolley Tours:
All weekly trolley tours are canceled through the end of April.
Lockerly Arboretum and Rose Hill are temporarily closed. All programs and activities for the rest of March are canceled, this includes: Dirt Digger work days, school field trips and horticulture therapy classes. The annual plant sale and Arbor Day program with Frederick Law Olmsted are postponed.
