Taylor’s Cove

Are you ready to spend your summer out on the lake? The newest addition to Lake Sinclair, Taylor's Cove opened on Memorial Day weekend and offers incredible food and a beautiful view of the lake. Enjoy their patio with a variety of flavorful oysters, blackened grouper pan seared in cajun spices and topped with their lemon butter and capers sauce, chargrilled ribeye with certified black angus beef, and more. 

Crazy Chic 

In January, a new fast food restaurant opened up on N. Jefferson Street. Crazy Chic combines their signature Crazy Chic Sauce with their delicious fried chicken, to stand out from the competition. Try their juicy chicken finger plates, chicken breast plates, sandwiches, salads and fish plates.

Miso Hawngry

Miso Hawngry is a new restaurant opening up in Downtown Milledgeville. Though they have not announced their opening date yet, locals are waiting in anticipation for the new addition to the downtown district. Miso Hawngry is dedicated to providing local farm fresh ingredients, and an environmentally friendly restaurant with recycled materials and compostable kitchen waste. Get ready for Authentic Tonkotsu Ramen made with Chashu, pork broth with roasted pork belly, soft boiled egg and scallions. 

Legends Seafood & Grill 

This family ran business opened in late June near Lake Sinclair, with fresh seafood, a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, and delectable meat straight off the grill. Legends Seafood & Grill is located on 3021 N Columbia St, and can hold over 350 people with indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy mouthwatering shrimp and grits or locally sourced ribeye while relaxing on their beautiful back patio. 

Pho Little Saigon Vietnamese Noodle Soup & Grill 

This new Vietnamese Restaurant is located at 2601 N Columbia St, and provides fresh and authentic Asian cuisine to customers in Milledgeville. Their fan favorite items include their pho, a delicious Vietnamese soup with broth, noodles, herbs and meat. They also serve fried rice with beef, chicken or shrimp, eggrolls, bubble tea, smoothies and more.

Rockwell House

This historical landmark, once occupied by a Georgia governor, offers breathtaking historic architectural features with a delightfully fresh interior design. The Rockwell House was recently renovated while still keeping a lot of the original architecture intact. They now offer four guest suits and private bookings of the entire house. Their fourteen room layout is also perfect for accommodating events of all sizes. Checkout their renovation on HGTV with Discovery Plus, which features beautiful scenes of Milledgeville.

 

Events & Activities

GMC Track and Field Complex

The Georgia Military College has finally opened up their new facility to benefit their Prep School students, Junior College Corps of Cadets, and the Athletic Program. GMC’s track program is extremely successful with many individual championships each year and placements including this year's state track meet. They will be holding numerous events and competitions at the complex to bring more people to our community, including the opportunity to host Regional and Sectional track meets. 

Dance in the Spirit, LLC

This spiritually focused dance company offers classical ballet and liturgical/praise/spiritual dance instruction and performance opportunities. Dance in the Spirit is located in 2930 Heritage PL NE Suite 1, with courses being offered in the fall, spring and summer terms. Drop-in visitors are welcome.
