Granddaughter of legendary Maria & Baron von Trapp, whose story inspired “The Sound of Music”, Elisabeth von Trapp performs not only classic carols, but also music ranging from Bach and Handel to jazz and Broadway. She has a style all her own, but with unmistakable ties to her family lineage. Hers is a voice that critics have called “hauntingly clear.” (New York Times) Georgia Military College presents Sounds of the Holidays — Elizabeth von Trapp & The Carolian Brass Quintet on December 17 at 7 pm at the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts.
