Milledgeville Georgia has so much more to offer than historic homes and museums. Lake Sinclair is a beautiful man made lake that offers over 500 miles of shoreline.  There is plenty of opportunity of water receation including boating and flishing.  So, rent a boat and tour beautiful Lake Sinclair or enjoy a peaceful afternoon of fishing.  There are several public boat ramps and several marinas. If your group is more adventurous, you can take a self-guided tour of Bartram Educational Forest.  Bartarm Forest offers numerous hiking trails, as well as wildlife viewing.

If the boys just want to be boys, send them off to play a round of golf.  Little Fishing Creek Golf Course, operated by Baldwin County, they offer 18 holes with very reasonable greens fees. And the girls can enjoy a nice afternoon strolling through breathtaking Lockerly Arboretum, a forty-seven acre public garden.
