Milledgeville Colleges

There are three colleges that call Milledgeville Georgia home, Central Georgia Technical School, Georgia College and State University and Georgia Military College.

Central Georgia Technical School (CGTC) is a community college located in Macon, GA, with a satellite campus in Milledgeville. CGTC is part of The Technical College System of Georgia and offers Associate Degree, Diploma, and Technical Certificate programs in a variety of areas, include Business, Health and Public Services.

Georgia College is Georgia's public liberal arts university, located in Milledgeville. The University was founded 1889 and the main campus encompasses 43 acres. They offer 36 undergraduate degrees and more then 25 graduate programs. There are 298 full-time faculty and 7,000 students.

Georgia Military College was founded in 1879 and is a community junior college. 95% of enrolled students commute, only 5% live on campus. The College offers Associate degrees and preparation and guidance for students to go on to a four-year college or university.
